The Problem

Many people living with reproductive and musculoskeletal pain rely on limited options for day-to-day relief, and existing approaches are not always convenient, accessible or comfortable to use while continuing with work, study or daily routines.

This creates a need for supportive, non-invasive technology that can be used discreetly and repeatedly.

Our Approach

PainEase brings established non-invasive therapy approaches together into a single wearable device, designed around how people actually live and move.

Our approach is human-centred: we design with the people who would use the device, and we test the design against comfort, usability and practicality.

How PainEase Works

The device is worn over the area where support is needed. Therapy modes — heat, vibration and red-light — can be selected and adjusted according to the user's preference.

PainEase is designed as supportive technology. It is not presented as a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Product Development

PainEase has progressed through concept development, engineering design and iterative prototyping, with each cycle refining the electronics, ergonomics and materials.

Development details and current stage information are updated as the project advances.

Testing & Validation

Our validation work combines engineering testing with user feedback to refine comfort, usability, safety considerations and reliability.

Formal validation, regulatory and clinical pathways are addressed as the product matures. Verified results will be published here once available.

The Future of PainEase

Our aim is to move PainEase towards a manufacturable, accessible product that can reach the people who need it, supported by the right partners and institutions.

We welcome collaboration on testing, manufacturing, distribution and research.
